Digium 1TE132F Single T1 PCI Card Overview
The Digium TE132 has the ability to create a seamless network, interconnecting traditional telephony systems with Voice over IP technologies. The 1TE132F support industry standard telephony protocols, including Primary Rate ISDN (both North American and Euro Standard) protocol families for voice. Both line-side and trunk-side interfaces are supported, as well as advanced call features. Customers requiring hardware-based echo cancellation should continue to purchase the Digium TE134 card instead.
With the combination of Digium hardware and Asterisk software, numerous telephony configurations are possible. From the traditional PBX to VoIP gateways, Digium solutions are paving the way for a new generation of worldwide communications.
The TE132 round out Digium's TE13x lineup by providing this version of the existing TE134 that does not include hardware-based echo-cancellation. It is important to note that the TE132, unlike other Digium cards, cannot be upgraded with hardware-based echo cancellation through the use of modules. The TE132 relies purely on software-based echo cancellers or is to be used in environments that do not require echo cancellation.
